What We Do
Across the globe, the Seventh-day Adventist Church shares hope through service, education, healing, and mission. We believe God has not given up on the world and that His promise of a New Earth shapes everything we do now.

Our impact is expressed through education, health, humanitarian service, and spiritual mission.

In anticipation of a world without ignorance, Adventists operate one of the largest Protestant educational systems globally, with more than 10,000 institutions and over 2.3 million students. From primary schools to universities, this ministry develops the whole person—mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually—preparing students for service and mission.
Because we believe suffering and disease will end in God’s kingdom, Adventists run a major not-for-profit Protestant healthcare network worldwide, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. This whole-person model addresses body, mind, and spirit, combining treatment, prevention, and hope.
Through ADRA and Adventist Community Services, Adventists deliver emergency relief, development assistance, food security programs, and local care initiatives. From global crises to neighborhood needs, this work reflects a kingdom vision where dignity, compassion, and practical help are available to all.
Adventists advocate freedom of conscience and religion for everyone through long-standing public affairs and religious liberty ministries. This includes legal advocacy, policy engagement, and international cooperation to protect the right to believe, worship, or not worship.
Through television, radio, digital platforms, and local media initiatives, Adventists share the gospel and practical hope in many languages and contexts. These channels reach people in both open and restricted regions, supporting discipleship and mission on a global scale.
Local churches engage in practical service—food distribution, youth mentoring, health education, family support, disaster response, and social care. This outreach translates belief into visible love and creates resilient communities.
Adventist ministries increasingly use digital technology for evangelism, education, mental health support, and community connection. Online tools extend pastoral care and learning opportunities to people who may not otherwise have access.
Adventist impact is not only institutional but relational. Every school, clinic, aid project, and church outreach expresses a present witness of God’s coming kingdom. We serve because we have received grace and because we believe restoration is both promised and already beginning.
With churches, schools, healthcare institutions, and humanitarian partners across the world, Adventist mission operates in diverse cultures and communities. This global-local network allows coordinated response, long-term development, and enduring spiritual support.
